This accessibility declaration applies to the web pages and subpages published on www.bmj.de

As a public sector body within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2016/2102, we strive to make our web pages accessible in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Act on Equal Opportunity for People with Disabilities (Behindertengleichstellungsgesetz – BGG) and the Ordinance on Accessible Information Technology (Barrierefreien-Informationstechnik-Verordnung – BITV 2.0) implementing Directive (EU) 2016/2102.

Current compliance with the requirements


The accessibility requirements are derived from section 3 (1) to (4) and section 4 of the Ordinance on Accessible Information Technology (BITV 2.0), enacted on the basis of section 12d of the Act on Equal Opportunity for People with Disabilities (BGG).

The website will be tested as soon as possible within the framework of these requirements. We will publish the test results here as soon as they are available.

Arbitration


If a satisfactory solution has not still been found even after submitting feedback in the manner described above, you can turn to the Arbitration Service provided for by section 16 BGG. The BGG Arbitration Service is tasked with supporting out-of-court dispute resolution in conflicts between persons with disabilities and Federal public bodies on the topic of accessibility. The arbitration process is free of charge. Legal counsel does not need to be involved. Additional information on the arbitration process and the options available for submitting an application can be found on: www.schlichtungsstelle-bgg.de.
